Your guide to discovering, connecting and experiencing art & culture your way.

Start with you

No two myCULTURE home screens are exactly alike. Register and complete your onboarding to tell us what interests you — from general topics and art styles to how to experience art and culture. Your answers help shape your recommendations, so your feed is built around you.

Your home screen: a world curated for you

Your home screen brings together artists, museums, galleries, exhibitions and events that are relevant to you. The more you interact with myCULTURE, the better it can understand what you want to discover.

Plan your cultural day

Have a specific day in mind? The calendar makes it easy to see what’s happening and discover exhibitions, events and other cultural experiences taking place on the date you’re looking for. Whether you’re planning ahead or deciding what to do today, you can explore culture around your schedule.

find art & cultural events on specific days with the myCULTURE calendar

>> You can select one day or a period of time if you're flexible

Discover art and culture around you

Sometimes discovery starts with where you are. Use the map to explore museums, galleries, exhibitions and events happening nearby. Allow location access to see cultural experiences around you and discover something you might otherwise have missed.

>> make sure you're logged in and allow access to your location

Like it? Tell myCULTURE.

A Like isn't just a Like. It helps myCULTURE understand you.

When you Like an artist, gallery, event or piece of content, you're telling the algorithm: I'm interested in this kind of art and culture. It helps shape your future recommendations.

What you like won't be visible to anyone and, in fact, the content won't remain marked as Liked either. No worries, if you like something multiple times, it won't affect the algorithm as it only considers one like per content piece.

>> click on the heart symbol and it will briefly turn orange & confirm you've "Liked" the content piece

Save it. Don't miss it.

Seen something you definitely want to remember? Save it.

Saved content stays relevant beyond the moment. myCULTURE can remind you about a museum, exhibition or event before it's too late — or let you know when an artist you've saved has a new event coming up.

save an artist, gallery, museum or event to receive relevant updates on them

>> click on the bookmark symbol and it will briefly turn orange & confirm you've "Saved" the artist (or museum, gallery, event, etc.)

IMPORTANT: Make sure you have allowed myCULTURE to send you reminders by email so you don't miss out on all the things you saved! You can check this in your general settings under profile.

Make sure to allow myCULTURE to send you event reminder notifications by email so you don't miss events you wanted to visit

In case you wonder about the difference between Like & Save: Like helps myCULTURE understand what you love. Save helps you remember what you don't want to miss.

Make plans with your Connections

Art and culture are often better together. Add friends to your Connections and send them events you'd like to visit. From discovering something interesting to actually making plans, myCULTURE helps turn inspiration into shared experiences.

Navigate to "Connections" on the menu. You can see your invitations, awaiting requests and existing connections. Click on the QR-code symbol on the top right corner, next to the search bar and filters. You can share your personal QR code via WhatsApp (or your preferred messaging app), or your friends can scan it directly with their phone when you meet in person. Be aware that your QR code refreshes every five minutes, for security reasons, so make sure your friend logged into myCULTURE when they scan your QR code to connect.

Once you're connected you can send events to your friend - simply click on the share symbol and select who you want to visit the event with.
